Water overflows the standpipe

Water overflows the standpipe behind my clothes washer. A lot of older homes will not handle the volume of water that newer automatic clothes washers are capable of pumping out at one time. Sometimes it’s as simple as using a drain snake to clear the line. But it often becomes necessary to use a high-pressure hydro jetting machine to thoroughly clean the line and restore it to its full diameter. And in some homes the original standpipe was plumbed in 1 ½ inch pipe instead of 2-inch pipe. If that’s the case then it may be necessary to re-pipe the washer drain with larger pipe.
