My toilet runs continuously

Your toilet runs continuously? One or two things can cause this. The most common being the flapper is hanging up on the chain and not closing, or the fill valve may need to be replaced. Either one can be catastrophic when combined with a stoppage of the bowl. If the bowl becomes clogged and the flapper hangs up the toilet can overflow hundreds of gallons of water into your home causing thousands of dollars in water damage in a very short period of time.
